If you’ve been a regular reader of the Tin Shingle blog you KNOW I love talking about the Power of Saying No. I’m a big believer in the impact on your professional and personal life developing this skill will deliver. That’s why I never hesitate to share a great article about it, and in this case, the Intent Blog delivers. Side note – they mention meditation. - One thing I love as an entrepreneur is any story about a big name and where they were “back then” before they were famous. For that reason, I suggest you take a mini-break and check out this quick video mash-up of several celebrities who worked it in bit parts (for many featured, it was before they were stars). My favorites include Cynthia Nixon (that hair!), Leighton Meester, Steven Colbert (oh yes) and Kathy Griffin. I think it’s a great reminder that sure, you’re sending your own samples out via Fedex today, but next year you could be on the cover of Fast Company!
