CNBC Casting New Small Business Show - Could YOU be the Star?

Share

I have long had a crush on CNBC programming since the days of The Big Idea with Donnie Deutsch.  Yes, I was one of the many people who actually stayed home to watch it (pre-DVR world that is).  When we heard that they were casting for a new business show featuring small businesses or family businesses (and giving them $$ to grow & reach their goals) I had to know all about it and of course share the scoop with all of you!

Below you'll find all the show, casting and contact information you'll need to assess whether you're a good fit.

Some things to know:  they are looking for established businesses.  They are looking for small businesses that could use a large cash infusion to help their biz or even take it to the next level.  Sound good so far?  Read on!

The Premise:
Each business will compete to pitch a business plan covering how they would use the prize money and a set of judges will decide which plan and business is most viable.  This business will receive the money.

So how long is your time commitment?
Each episode will feature 3 businesses, and total filming commitment will be spread out over 3 days, which includes a day to compile a background "package" (about you and your biz) and  a day or two for the actual studio shoot. This means you have lots of great opportunities for exposure and a big, public chance to help your company grow.

If you or your small biz pals are interested, please submit the following information:

-       Basic company info (Description, location and history of business)

-       Brief introduction to members involved and their roles

-       Photos of company members

-       Phone number(s), email address, website (if applicable)

-       How would your company use a large sum of money if awarded?

Send all of this information to castingfambusiness@gmail.com and tell them that Sabina from Tin Shingle sent you - they're awaiting your emails!  Go for it!

Why not you? Why not NOW?
