Find Websites That Link to You

Share

You can go straight to Google to find out who is linking to you. You'll type in a special search query: link:www.yourwebsite.com and you'll be presented with a list of links who link to your website. Some of your own pages may be included in the mix. SEOMoz.com offers a simular tool, but going through Google is free. ;)

Happy sluething!

You can see a partial listing of sites that are linking to you by typing link:www.yourwebsitename.com into the search field on Google (just replace “yourwebsitename.com” with your URL).

It’s a fun thing to check every once in a while, but keep in mind that this method doesn’t provide a complete list – and there’s no real rhyme or reason to which backlinks Google shows you. :)
