Rachel Dooley : How did you get your jewelry on Blake Lively from Gossip Girl?
A friend of mine knew a stylist for a new show that was going to be "fashion forward" and told me that I should send over some pieces. I sent over a few things, and I got a call back from the stylist who said that he wanted more. Soon I received a call from Blake's publicist who said that Blake really liked the jewelry but they wouldn't let her take it off set. I sent over a couple pieces and actually started to design pieces especially for her. She was so gracious and actually sent me flowers and cupcakes and best of all started to wear the pieces for photo shoots and appearances and started to invite me to events. This has definitely been very exciting and created a buzz for my brand. Stores and customers love to buy the products that Blake wears.
