I've tracked my New Year's Resolutions for a few years now, after realizing that how are you ever going to know that you hit any goals if you don't write them down? So I publish them here at Tin Shingle.

In honor of the day, I've revved up my Diary of Small Biz Owner blog here at Tin Shingle to give you a glimpse of a day in the entrepreneurial life of new working momhood with 3 kids. Doing any sort of piece like this triggers all sorts of reflections for me - good and bad - so let's see what comes out in this diary entry :)

Last year's realization that I didn't know if I'd been hitting any New Year's Resolutions at all, and my subsequent vow to declare it and update it proved effective. I actually know how I did this year - what I did accomplish, and what I didn't. Therefore, for 2017, I am bringing over any resolutions in 2016 that I did not hit, and adding new ones. 

It's June 15th, and I'm just now typing in my resolutions. If that's any indication of how the year is going! So before it goes any further, here is what I proclaimed to do this year:

This fantastic hash tag, created by a fellow entrepreneur Jennifer Whaley of Fetch Portraits really hit home with me and helped me get my goals in focus. I'm leaving fear and hesitation in 2015 and I'm gonna go get those somedays everyday!

Sabina, my business partner here at Tin Shingle, came from a breakfast meeting with a reporter one morning, and told me that the reporter asked her what her resolutions were for the New Year.
