"Desksides" are short meetings between you and an editor of a magazine or newspaper, ranging between 15 to 20 minutes, where you pitch your product to that editor, with the hopes of them giving your product coverage in the magazine. Relationships between you and people in the media are everything in PR, and a deskside is a great way to start a new relationship with an editor.
