Stephanie Cion, founder and CEO of WELLalarm, was working as a healthcare executive at Aetna when she was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease called CIDP in 2005. Upon her recovery, Stephanie used her background in venture capital and medical technology to design and launch WELLalarm. WELLalarm is the first and only technologically sophisticated emergency alert system that combines the power of technology with modern, luxury ID jewelry and products to protect the lives of all children and the millions of people living with severe allergies and life threatening medical conditions.

Stephanie attended The Dalton School, The George Washington University and New York University’s graduate program for Healthcare Finance and Policy. Prior to attending graduate school at NYU, Stephanie worked in venture capital specializing in medical devices, wireless, and infrastructure technology. Following graduate school Stephanie took an executive position at Aetna in Enterprise Strategy. She has served as a board member on the board of MIT Enterprise Forum of NYC for the past 4 years and chairs their healthcare events. Stephanie is an active member and advisor the Neuropathy Foundation. Stephanie has written a number of articles on healthcare technology, healthcare issues, Neuropathy, CIDP, allergies, and the changing face of chronic illness.
