In August 2009, a trip to the tip of Spain led two adventurous women towards Africa, the Casbah, a medicine man and the introduction to a 1.5 million year old tree species that yields what locals call “liquid goldâ€ÂÂ. Arganica was born out of their mutual admiration of natures own eclectic apothecary and a desire to make personal care products that are not just healthy for people but to support the sustainability of the planet.
Arganica was co-founded by Bianca Beldini and Jodie Tassello, both board certified Oriental Medicine practitioners with private practices in NYC. Bianca is also a clinical Aromatherapist with first hand essential oil distillation experience and has been featured on The Today Show, Fox 5 and NBC. Jodie has a 17 year background in research science where she’s held positions at The Rockefeller University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Jodie has been published in numerous scientific journals and is Arganica’s master formulator. Combining their knowledge of medicinal botanicals, Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern science this dynamic duo has captured nature’s synergistically therapeutic 100% natural age-defying skin food.
Arganica uses only ingredients that come directly from mother nature, we never use alcohol or chemical based extracts, parabens, petrochemicals, or animals for testing.
