Tess Paras is an actor with a professional background in public relations and small business entrepreneurship. She recently relocated to Los Angeles from New York City. After graduating magna cum laude from New York University, Tess went on to perform in musicals in regional theaters across the country and was a mainstage singer and dancer on a popular cruiseline. In New York, Tess performed the one-woman, one-act Connecticut by Bekah Brunstetter (Directed by Michelle Bossy, Associate Artistic Dir., Primary Stages), and The All American Genderf*ck Cabaret by Mariah MacCarthy (Founder, Purple Repertory Company). Notable TV credits include: a Guest Star on USA Network’s “White Collarâ€Â and appearances on “Law & Order,â€Â “Damages,â€Â “Kings,â€Â “Gossip Girl,â€Â and “The Good Wife." (More credits on IMDB) Tess received the Best Actress Award at the 5th Annual 72 Hour Film Shootout, sponsored by the Asian Cinevision and the Asian American Film Lab, for the short “Cold Warâ€Â which she also produced. She has also appeared in numerous commercials and print campaigns. Tess studied comedy at Upright Citizen’s Brigade in NYC and currently performs in LA with her improv group, CONRAD.
