Template: Media Alert

When sending out a media alert to let the press know there is an event/press conference/newsworthy occurrence coming up that they can cover/are invited to, follow the format below:

MEDIA ALERT

Title Here

 

What:
What is the event they are invited to cover?

Who:
Who is involved, throwing it, will anyone of importance/good to interview be in attendance? Let them know here!

Where:
Where will the event be held (include address, room number if applicable, etc).

When:

Give the exact time the event starts, and specifiy what the time is you're giving them information about (example: Red Carpet Arrivals begin at 8 pm, awards begin at 9 pm).  Do not give them an earlier time so that they can come early to set up, they can figure this out on their own.
