Member to Member Discount Setup and Promotion

Members of Tin Shingle can offer exclusive discounts to one another. Tin Shingle does promote these discounts in several ways. If you would like to offer a discount to the public, please do so by listing it in the Shopping Guides in the "Small Biz Discovery Center". You can do so at any time by going to your Account Center or following the shortcut links on the right side of this website. Click here to view all member-to-member discounts.

For exclusive discounts, please follow the steps below:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Discount must be 20% or more
  • Discount can apply to products or services
  • Discounts are only seen by members of Tin Shingle. Only members are given your contact info or coupon details.


SUBMIT

1. Email: Email your discount details to member@tinshingle.com. Please see the member discounts below to act as your guide.

2. Design: Don't lift a finger! Tin Shingle will design a member discount ad like you see on the Member Discount pages. Please include your headshot or logo in your email as attachments.

3. Followup: Jackie, our Communications Coordinator, will reach out to you when your ad is ready and has been published here. If you'd like to followup before then, please email Jackie directly at jackie@tinshingle.com.
 


PROMOTION
The following is included with your Tin Shingle membership:

  • Logo/Ad Placement in Member-Only Emails: When you first submit your discount to Tin Shingle, it will be introduced in the weekly Member Update email. Your discount ad will then rotate being published in the weekly Member Update and the Forum emails.
     
  • Article on the Blog: When your discount is first announced, it gets featured on Tin Shingle's blog in an article.
     
  • Ad Placement on Private, Member-Only Website: Your discount ad will rotate being displayed to members only on the Tin Shingle website, in the right side column under your member tools.
     

 

ADVERTISING
If you would like to post a discount to the public for more exposure on the Tin Shingle website and/or newsletter, you can buy an advertisement with a discount from your Tin Shingle membership. Please email katie@tinshingle.com for rates and to book a spot.
