Melissa Wildstein of The Matchstick Group and Tin Shingle provides tips on what to think about when you're thinking about pricing. Her advice? Cash In On Your Competition: Take a look at how your competitors are pricing their products or services and then take a look at your own offering. Do you provide better customer service, a few more bells and whistles? Or do you want people to feel that you're a higher quality choice? Then take the competition's price and add a 10% premium. It's not so much that it would completely turn someone off but it will signal that you're a higher caliber performer (and you'll have a little extra $ in your pocket).
