It stuns me when people see I have 3 very young children (5,4,2 yrs old) and act surprised when I tell them I run a business. Just because I'm a mom doesn't mean I can't do it all; be a great mom, run errands, take care of a house, and be an entrepreneur. You just have to figure out how to get the work done while incorporating your every day life stuff. For instance the grocery store is the best place to research magazine editors that you want to pitch to. I get my grocery shopping done then take a few minutes to go by the magazine section to see where my eco-friendly skin care candles can fit into the articles and gift guides of the variety of print magazines out there. It's a great way to do some research while still getting errands done.
