Wouldn’t it be awesome to tell your viewers a great story about a local resident who is doing his best to get the word out about a product he developed to a national television audience?
I’m Mark Goodson with Zipp Mist, and I recently traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina, to participate in a casting call for the popular show Shark Tank. Along with 200 other budding entrepreneurs, I had just one minute to convince the producers that Zipp Mist is an idea worthy of a television program watched by more than 6 million people.
The producers were looking for someone who is passionate about their product, and I believe they discovered such a person in me.
My fellow entrepreneurs presented ideas concerning subjects ranging from funerals to boots and from fishing to using the toilet. During my presentation, I actually shaved my face for the producers, proving to them that a person can easily complete this daily task with Zipp Mist in less than a minute. Zipp Mist is not a shaving cream; instead, it is a cooling mist, made up of 20 different ingredients, mostly soothing oils and skin conditioners. Zipp Mist all but eliminates razor burn, an ailment I suffered with for years before I developed a way to avoid it altogether.
At the Shark Tank casting call, I was permitted to speak about only one product. However, I have taken my innovative new way to shave a step further. In addition to Zipp Mist, I have developed a razor blade that will give you a close, comfortable shave every time. It has four separate blades, two running parallel to your face to give you the closest shave possible and two more at a 20-degree angle to help you deal with those hard-to-reach places on your face.We have filed a provisional patent for the blade, and we are in the process of building a working prototype.
I would love to be able to tell the story of how and why I developed an innovative way to shave and all the things I’ve done to earn a spot on Shark Tank and other national television shows. I would appreciate it if you would give me that opportunity. I’m sure your viewers would appreciate it as well.
