Future Sticks offers a traditional tapered end and a new patented feature on the opposite end of the chopstick; teeth that increase the gripping power of the chopstick making it possible for everyone to enjoy using chopsticks with ease and confidence.
Future Sticks are made of a plastic polymer called ULTEM, a SABIC, USFDA certified food grade, plastic. They are capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 338 F (170 C), with no damage, are virtually unbreakable, dishwasher safe and have the durability to be sterilized in an autoclave.
This innovation creates a product that is sterile, reusable and portable; capable of being carried to restaurants and that is eco-friendly in that it eliminates the need for disposable chopsticks which use up natural resources. In China and Japan, this waste claims more than 25 million full grown trees each year.
