I spoke with a buyer for Wholefoods and ended up submitting my candles to one of their NC regional offices for consideration to be carried in their stores. The feedback I got was they liked my candles, however they already carred a line for that region that is very similar to mine. Of course I was bummed I didn't get that wholesale account but it gives me hope, because that means they probably would have chosen Honest Earth Candles had they had room to expand the department or weren't going to carry that other particular candle line. When we move to California this summer I am really looking forward to going after that Wholefoods west coast regional division and trying to get Honest Earth Candles on those store shelves!
